Charlie is a person from the past, the nickname of a man who looked like a friend but turned out to be an enemy. Like something that looks like what it is not. Charlie is a game betrayed, a mine in a teddy bear, a balloon that has become as heavy as marble, but also a monument to the perennial memory of football, and of sport in general.
